Hibs 3-0 Bolton Wanderers

Hibs put in a superb performance tonight, in their penultimate pre-season friendly at Easter Road.

The Hibees dominated English Premiership outfit Bolton Wanderers from start to finish with cracking performances all over the pitch.

Hibs took the lead through STEVEN FLETCHER after some cracking play in the midfield, the ball was slipped through the Bolton rearguard by Stevenson, Fletcher ran on to the ball before smashing it beyond Ian Walker with the outside of his foot.

Fletcher then had another two one on one's with the stopper, which he failed to take, smashing one into the side netting and the other straight at the keeper.

Hibs also created a number of good chances that they failed to take.
Bolton also having a couple of chances, cracking the post and bar in the process.

Brian Kerr and Boozy dominated the centre of midfield with Lewis Stevenson and Merouane Zemmama both playing superbly on the flanks.

Half time:

Hibs 1-0
Bolton

Hibs made one change at half time, Clayton Donaldson on for Steven Fletcher.

The second half started the way the first half ended, with Hibs dominating.

Benji was causing his marker all sorts of problems and was desperate for a goal, hitting a few long range efforts high and wide.

Hibs then added to the lead with a fantastic goal through DAVID MURPHY. Murphy picked the ball up out wide and beat a couple of players before releasing the ball to Kevin McCann, who played a lovely wee ball through the Wanderers defence back to Murphy, who had continued his run, Murphy smashed the ball low and hard past Ian Walker putting the Hibees 2-0 up.

Hibs scored again just three minutes later, this time through BENJI, the Moroccan hit man picked the ball up some 30 yards out, after some more neat play in midfield, and smashed it past the stranded Ian Walker in the Bolton goal in to the top corner.

Hibs made some more changes, Ross Campbell coming on for Benji, Ross Chisholm coming on for the outstanding Boozy and Sean Lynch replacing Lewis Stevenson, who also had an excellent game.

New boy Thierry Gathuessi also got a run out, when he replaced Moroccan wizard Merouane Zemmama, who also had a cracking game.

Bolton started to come in to it near the end, without really threatening Ma-Kalamby in goal and Hibs also had a couple more chances before the end, but the Hibees controlled it right to the end.
