The Hibs U20 side lost the mini derby at Newtongrange's Victoria Park last night.
An early goal gave the non paying of wages club a 1-0 win.
The young Hibees included over-age players Sean Murdoch, Lewis Stevenson and Pa Kujabi in the side.
