It has been revealed tonight that freed Hibs youngster Jack Wilson has signed for Doncaster Rovers.

Wilson has signed on with Doncaster on a short term deal following a successful trial with the Championship club.

The 19-year-old was released by Hibs boss John Hughes just two days ago.

Wilson now joins former Hibs team mate Dean Shiels, who signed for Doncaster in January, at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Despite breaking through the famous Hibernian Youth Academy, the midfielder has failed to make an appearance the Hibees first team and is delighted to be joining Doncaster, he said:

"It all came about when Sean bumped into my old boss Tony Mowbray at a Celtic reserve game and he recommended me to him.

"I have been at Hibs since I was 12 but now I need to progress, so coming to Rovers will help that."
