Ex Hibs midfielder Ross Chisholm has today hit out at the club and new manager John Hughes.
Chisholm was on the verge of signing a new contract at Easter Road, when former manager Mixu Paatelainen quit his post.
Hibs chief Rod Petrie then pulled the contract offer until the club had a new manager in place.
John Hughes left Falkirk to take over the reigns at Easter Road, and his first act as manager was to allow Chisholm to leave.
Speaking in a national tabloid this morning, Chisholm said:
"The gaffer left and a new one came in and I'm not in his plans.
"The chairman Rod Petrie called my agent to tell him. I was disappointed he didn't call me to give his reasons.
"I'm not going to have sour grapes about it as there is nothing I can do about it now.
"But if I'd known three months ago I'd not get a deal then it would've been better as teams could have watched me in the final few games."
As we reported way back in January, English sides Bristol Rovers and Port Vale are hot on his trail.
