Former Hibs midfielder Denes Rosa is once again a target for arch rivals Hearts.
Rosa, 32, signed for the Hibees in January, on a short term six month deal, that run out last week.
New Hibs boss John Hughes has failed to offer him a deal and it seems Hearts want to sign the Hungarian.
His agent Zoran Krneta confirmed that the pub team had been in contact, saying:
"Hearts is one of the options for Denes,
"They wanted to take him in January and I have spoken with them again since the end of the season. Denes would like a two-year deal starting next season but it's a question of who gives him a concrete offer. Hearts know where we stand and they know what we want."
Rosa is a decent player, who has a wee spark of magic, but he never turned it on enough at Easter Road.
Maybe he needed a longer contract to prove his worth, but he will be no huge loss should he leave the Leith San Siro.
He isn't getting any younger either, 32-years-old, and with Zemmama on his way back to Easter Road, Hibs have a far better and younger player set to return.
