Hibs were handed a blow earlier on today, with the news that defender Efe Ambrose has left the club.
The 30-year-old Nigerian defender has triggered a clause in his contract that allows him to leave the club ths transfer window, despite him having 6 months left on his deal at the club.
Ambrose does this amongst reported interest from a number of clubs, with Cardiff City said to be the front runners.
Marseille, Galatassary and Trabzonspor have also been credited with an interest.
The former Celtic defender has been a rock at the heart of the Hibees defence and will be a hard man to replace.
He becomes the third player to leave the club in the last few days, following Charalampos Marvias and Emerson Hyndman out the exit door at Easter Road.
Good luck Efe from Hibs-Mad
