Easter Road has apparently become front-runner to host the Ramsdens Cup Final on Sunday April 6th 2014.
The game will be between League One side The Rangers and Championship side Raith Rovers.
The Rangers beat Stenhousemuir and Raith Rovers knocked out Annan Athletic in their respective semi finals.
Hampden Park can't be used as it's out of commission due to preperations for the 2014 Glasgow Commenwealth Games.
Celtic Park and it's 60.000+ capacity looks perfect, but it seems the powers that be don't think so.
Easter Road and it's 20,250 capacity has now become front runner, with Raith said to prefer it, and with Edinbugh being a neutral city for both clubs, it also seems a good solution for distance of travel of both set's of supporters.
Raith Rovers have also ruled out any chance of the game being played at the home of the Rangers, Ibrox.
Other stadiums muted are Tynecastle, Livingston and Pittodrie, but the home of Aberdeen seems a bit far for both sets of supporters to travel, considering both clubs are in the central belt.
The final is over FIVE MONTHS away, so there is still plenty of time to decide on a venue.
