According to the Daily Record, Dundee are eyeing a move for Hibs midfielder Scott Allan.
The 30-year-old has a previous loan spell at Dens Park, before his return to Easter Road, and it's understood manager James McPake wants to take him back to the Dee.
Allan has struggled with health issues over the last 18 months, that have seen him in and out the side at Easter Road, could he see this as a fresh start?
Dundee are expected to make their move before the window closes at the end of the month.
Hibernian-Mad View:
This is a tough one, the thought of losing such a good player is tough to take, but Scott has failed to hold down a first team place for a while, not at his own fault either.
His health problems with Diabetes and his heart are well documented, and his game time needs to be managed.
However, at 30-years-old and the Hibees bringing in younger players and spending some decent cash, first team chances may be harder to come by.
Scott may want to get out and get as many games as possible in the last years of his career.
It would be a big blow to lose such a fans favourite, but a move we can understand.
