Transfer Deadline Day Update:
It has been revealed that Dumbarton have made a loan bid for out-of-favour Hibs midfielder Sam Stanton.
Stanton has struggled to hold down a regular place during the last 18 months at Easter Road, and spent a period of last season on loan with Livingston.
It seems that the 22-year-old has failed to impress new Hibs boss Neil Lennon enough, and is set for another loan deal away from Easter Road.
Stanton has played 70 times for Hibs scoring 7 goals.
