According to tonight's news reports. Hibs are set to finally announce the signing of winger Drey Wright.
The 25-year-old English winger has been training with the Hibees since leaving St Johnstone in the summer, but the long running transfer saga is said to be close to completion.
Wright is expected to be announced as a Hibs player in the next couple of days, and would be the Hibees first summer signing.
Hibs boss Jack Ross has been looking to bolster his squad following the departures of Greg Docherty, Stephane Omeonga, Marc McNulty, Jason Naismith, Steven Whittaker, Adam Bogdan and Vykintas Slivka over the summer.
There is also the on-going coronavirus situation having an impact on club finances on who they can afford to bring in.
Editor's View:
It would be good to get a new singing through the door, the squad is looking a bit thin.
It's a fine balancing act with finances during this difficult period, but Hibs have a certain budget and it looks like Wright is close to being the first signing.
