Craig Rocastle back at Hibs on trial??

Last updated : 14 May 2008 By Steve Forbes

www.hibernian-mad.co.uk understands that Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen has handed former midfielder Craig Rocastle a chance to win a deal at Easter Road.

Rocastle has been invited by Mixu to train at Hibs new state-of-the-art training facility in the summer.

Rocastle, 26, spent three months on loan at Hibs from
Chelsea during the 2004-05 season and formed a superb partnership with Boozy in the centre of midfield.

He then returned to
Chelsea in a last ditch attempt to force his way into their star studded line up - a move that failed.

Chelsea released Rocastle at the end of that season, which paved the way for the player to sign for Sheffield Wednesday.

He has since gone on to play for
Yeovil Town, Oldham Athletic, Port Vale and Gillingham.

Could Rocastle still do a job at Easter Road?? He was excellent the first time round, is he still the same player??
