It has been revealed tonight that Celtic have tabled a bid for Hibs midfielder Scott Allan.
It has been reported by Sky Sports earlier today that Celtic had entered discussions with the Hibees over the midfield maestro.
Now reports have surfaced this evening that the Glasgow club have made a "cash plus players" offer for the 23-year-old.
Hibs have, of course, been interested in signing Celtic fringe midfielder Dylan McGeouch, who was excellent last season, while on loan at Easter Road and it seems he could be one of the players.
Other Celtic players being touted as loan deals, as part of the deal, are Callum McGregor and Liam Henderson.
The fee on top of the deal is also unknown, with reports of anything between £250,000 and £600,000 being touted.
Allan is thought to be open to moving to Celtic, despite being a self confessed Rangers fan, and also after he tried to engineer to move to Ibrox earlier in the window, after Hibs threw out three bids from the Gers.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs was asked about the move, he said:
“It’s irrelevant. He’s here. That’s the latest. I can’t and I won’t comment on speculation – it’s wrong to do so.”
