The fans group looking to gain control of the club, #BuyHibs, have again pleaded for a meeting with Hibs owner Sir Tom Farmer.
The group has been offered a meeting with the club's board, but turned it down saying they were only interested in talking to the two owners of the club - Sir Tom Farmer & Chairman Rod Petrie.
In a statement released in the last 24 hours, #BuyHibs said:
“The majority of fans connected to Hibernian realise that some form of change is needed; we are keen to open up the discussions to allow the fans to have a stronger voice and a greater understanding of what options lie ahead.
“BuyHibs want the best future for the club and if that transpires to be something other than what we are proposing, we will look to work with that. We are reaching out to the Hibernian community and we have received great support from fans in Australia following meetings last week.”
BuyHibs will hold question and answer sessions in the Supporters Club at Sunnyside on Monday and Wednesday of next week at 7.30pm, which fans can register by e-mailling info@buyhibs.org followed by a “sign up Saturday” prior to the home match against Alloa on December 13.
