Hibs have taken Brazilian attacking midfielder Adryan on trial.
The 29-year-old playmaker has travelled to Dubai with the Hibees in an attempt to win a January move to Easter Road.
Adryan can count Leeds United, Sion, Flamengo and Nantes amongst his former clubs and has been a free agent since leaving Italian side Brescia in the summer.
Both the Brazilian and Leeds United youngster Kris Moore were given game time as the Hibees played Swiss side Servette in a mid-season friendly on Friday evening.
Hibs played a different XI in both halves and lost 5-1 in tough conditions.
A second friendly, with English Premiership side Wolves, has been cancelled due to the Hibees not having enough players with them and fear of pushing the players too much in the heat.
HIBS-MAD VIEW
Hibs boss Monty is looking to bolster his side this window, and taking a look at players whilst on trial harms nobody.
The Hibees need to really add a couple of defenders at the least this window and more if they can.
Monty has already stated he wants to land FOUR new players if he can, as he looks to push the club further up the table in the second half of the season.
