According to press reports today, English Premiership side Blackburn Rovers have keeping tabs on Hibees striker Steven Fletcher.

Rovers boss Paul Ince is apparently keen on the 21-year-old
Scotland internationalist and sent a scout to spy on the player in Saturday's 1-0 win over newly promoted Hamilton Accies.

The scout would have been disappointed however as Fletcher left the field after on 38 minutes, he had been suffering from flu all week and it caught up with him.

Hibs are thought to be value the player in the region of £4m as the
forward's stock continues to rise.

The Hibees youth product has already attracted the interest of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona as well as a host of Premiership sides and it now seems Blackburn have joined the queue.

Blackburn boss Paul Ince is said to be considering a move for Fletcher in the January transfer window to add to his firepower at Ewood Park.
