Blackburn eye move for Hibs defender Paul Hanlon

According to today's Scottish Sun, Blackburn Rovers are eyeing a move for Hibs defender Paul Hanlon.

The Ewood Park club are being linked with a January move for the long-serving centre back.

Blackburn, managed by former Hibs boss Tony Mowbray, have been sending scouts to Easter Road to watch the Scottish Cup winning legend and are apparently impressed.

Hanlon, 27, has made over 300 appearances for the club since breaking through the academy and making his debut at just 17, against Inverness Caley in a Scottish Cup clash at Easter Road.

Hibs would be looking for a decent fee, should they decide to sell, as the Scotland U21 cap is contracted to the Hibees until June 2019.
