Hiba have today been drawn in Group B in the Betfred Cup Draw and will face a former club captain.
The Hibees have been drawn in a group along with Dundee, managed by former captain James McPake, as well as Forfar, Brora Rangers and Cove Rangers.
It's a good draw for the men from Easter Road and they will be confident in progressing to the next round.
Hibs last won the competiton in 2007 and made it to last season's semi final, eventually losing 5-2 to Celtic at Hampden.
