Hibs have been dealt a bit of a blow this evening, with the news that Arsenal have recalled Harry Clarke from his loan.
The defender joined the Hibees on loan from the Premiership side in January, but only managed a handful of appearances, after picking up an injury during his first few days in Edinburgh.
He spent 2 months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury before finally breaking into the Hibees first-team
He managed 8 appearances, scoring 1 goals and contributing 2 assists.
The 21-year-old will now return south and is expected to be loaned straight out to Stoke City, who's boss, former Hibs midfielder Michael O'Neill, was spotted at Easter Road on a spying mission last season - clearly watching Clarke.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
A blow for Hibs, Clarke showed some exciting glimpses in the games he managed at Easter Road.
However, Hibs fans shouldn't lose to much heart, at the end of the day he managed only 8 games and was part of a team who finished the season badly.
The Hibees will now have another wage to use, as Lee Johnsons re-builds his squad this summer.
