3 Loan players leave Hibs

Hibs have revealed that the three loan signings that they captured in January have returned to their parent clubs.

Duncan Watmore (Sunderland), Daniel Boateng (Arsenal) and Danny Hanyes (Notts County) all return south.

It doesn't look like Hibs will attempt to sign any of the three, who struggled to make an impact at Easter Road.

Watmore, 18, was the only one who showed flashes of being a good player, but was quite injury prone, he did score away at Partick Thistle, but the Hibees lost the game 3-1.

Haynes also scored, away at Kilmarnock, but struggled to hold down a spot in the team. He also picked up a shocking red card for a stamp, before making his comeback in the play-off second leg defeat to Hamilton, lasting 5 mins before, before being carried off injured.

Boateng ended up being a strange signing, he only made one appearance in a Hibs shirt, and never got near the team again.

There is no mention on fourth loan singing, french winger Abdel Zoubir, who hasn't featured in months.

It's been a busy day at East Mains, are there more players on the way out???
