Reserve news v Dundee

Last updated : 16 March 2005 By Brian Hine

Hibs first reserve game at Easter road for two months turned out to be a real goal feast on a very cold night in February.

The few hundred freezing fans were treated to a great game that ended up with a 4-3 scoreline in the Hibees favour following on from the 3-3 draw against the 'Well last time out.

Hibs hit the woodwork twice in the first half but still went in 2-0 down at half time, Mann and Sutton getting the all important goals for the visitors.

The second half was brighter for the Hibees though as Alen Orman (2), Ivan Sproule and Dean Shields (penalty) got the goals for the home side and Reilly getting the visitors third.

Scott Brown got the whole first half to try and get some match tempo under his belt in his continued return after that long injury layoff. Suprisingly no game for Thomson though, who is also on the way back from injury and is just behind Brown in the recovery stakes.

FINAL SCORE

Hibs 4-3 Dundee
